Whitsunday Islands are a world recognized sailing "Mecca" for

established mainly in Airlie Beach and Shute Harbor. Bareboat charters are a skipper-yourself type of charter. A certain level of boat handling ability is required but most of the better bareboat charter companies offer a very comprehensive briefing on the first day to familiarize you with your vessel, and the area.
