BAREBOAT CHARTER - a yacht without crew where YOU do the sailing. You decide on the route, you sail the boat, and you do your own cooking aboard. Provisioning can be done for you, or you may decide to purchase your own provisions when you arrive.
Sufficient previous experience as a skipper with yachts of a similar size and certification is required for bare boat charters. You must be familiar with reading charts and navigation as well. To charter a bareboat sailing yacht, according to the Greek sailing laws, it is necessary for two members of your crew (skipper and co-skipper) to have sailing certificates which prove their competence.

If no such certificates are issued in your home country, two members of your crew will be required to sign affidavits stating their experience to sail the chartered yacht plus the experience of a deck hand.
